Mercedes Encases 1979 280 GE in “Amber”

Mercedes-Benz has created the “world’s biggest installation of synthetic resin” by encasing a classic 1979 280 GE for the Detroit Auto Show. The resin block, entitled “Stronger than time: 1979 G-Class cast in amber,” is designed to look like amber (petrified tree-sap … you know … Jurassic Park and stuff), and was constructed as a promo lead-in to their all new 2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV.

Does London contain time rifts and inter-dimensional portals? Portals of London is a “A curious blog has been documenting instances of ‘inter-dimensional gateways’ appearing in London.” One such article titled, Under river, outside time: The Woolrich Anomaly tells the story of contractors working to repair an old foot-path tunnel under the Thames. They discover that as they’re down in the tunnel, they’re aging slightly faster than the world around them.
